Clients now actively using KHIN Interface
FoxFire Systems Group is pleased to announce that the Kansas Health Information Network (KHIN) interface within FoxFire EHR is officially live. After wrapping up the phases of development and testing, FoxFire launched the KHIN interface, making it available for current clients. FoxFire is the first EHR provider in the eye care industry to do so. Providers in the state of Kansas can now utilize KHIN to exchange information across the state and better manage their patients’ care.
At its core, KHIN is a secure exchange connection developed to collect health information for patients and share it with a network of health care providers from all disciplines. The interface within FoxFire EHR allows current providers in the state of Kansas to utilize this exchange to easily share their patient information. Not only does the technology meet requirements for Meaningful Use, but now providers can also take advantage of significant incentive payments from Blue Cross Blue Shield.
When presented the opportunity to work with KHIN, FoxFire eagerly accepted, recognizing the significant benefits it would offer clients in Kansas. Staff welcomed the challenge to develop the interface and seamlessly integrated it within the current software. Striving to always offer the latest technology, FoxFire looks forward to seeing the positive impact of the new connection.
“FoxFire is pleased to see the project come to fruition. We eagerly anticipate feedback from clients and look forward to seeing the positive impact it has on how they are able to manage their patient care,” said Korry Petterson, President FoxFire Systems Group.
